March 2014 will mark the 31st Annual National Eye Donor Month! The Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) is excited about the many events, ceremonies, and activities available to commemorate this event. EBAA will sponsor an enhanced version of last year’s National Eye Donor Month story contest and you can participate in the following ways.

Donor Families and Corneal Transplant Recipients may submit an entry to the “Through My Eyes” Art Contest

For the second year, EBAA is proud to spearhead an event for National Eye Donor Month. This year’s contest, “Through My Eyes,” will allow cornea recipients and donor family members to share their experience of receiving sight or giving sight through their loved one.  This year’s contest will include categories for personal experiences expressed through art (drawings, photos or video) as well as written stories.   Submissions should exemplify their journey, showing viewers the impact the gift of sight has had on their lives.
