Mid-America Transplant United is an active team of donor families, living donors, transplant recipients, and individuals awaiting transplant. Brought together by these experiences, we find hope and joy in our work to create community, build awareness, and support those affected by donation and transplantation.

To celebrate life, encourage donation, and become a resource for those affected by organ, eye, and tissue donation and transplantation.
Who We Are
We are donor families, living donors, transplant recipients, and individuals awaiting transplant. Our members hail from eastern and southern Missouri, southern Illinois, and northeast Arkansas, but we are all connected by our life-changing experiences with organ, eye, and tissue donation.
While we encourage all of our members to participate in the Transplant Games of America, athletic ability is not a requirement. We welcome members of all ages, abilities, and experiences.
What We Do
Mid-America Transplant United comes together year-round to honor donors, support donor families, raise awareness of the need for donation and transplantation, and celebrate life at the Transplant Games of America. Below are a few ways to get involved with Mid-America Transplant United.
Participate in the Transplant Games
Every two years, we join teams from around the world at the Transplant Games to compete, celebrate life, and promote organ, eye, and tissue donation. Competition events are open to living donors and recipients.
Connect with Others Affected by Donation & Transplant
Throughout the year, we host events where you can share your story, honor donors, support donor families, and connect with others affected by donation and transplantation.
Encourage Donation in Your Community
Part of our mission is to raise awareness of the need for organ, eye, and tissue donation. Our members regularly attend events and registration drives to share their stories and encourage others to register for donation.
