The Celebrate Life 5K brings together the transplant community to honor donor families and living donors, celebrate recipients and support those waiting for a transplant.

When: Sunday, October 14, 2018 – 8:00 a.m.
Pre-race activities begin at 8:30 a.m. Welcome at main stage 9:00 a.m. Race begins at 9:30 a.m. Awards to follow race.

- $25 before August 31, 2018
- $30 from September 1 through September 26, 2018
- $35 from September 27 through race morning
Onsite registration will be available race morning. T-shirts and sizes cannot be guaranteed with onsite registration.
Packet Pick Up
Team captains and individual registrants can pick up their packets from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12 at Mid-America Transplant (1110 Highlands Plaza Drive East, Suite 100, St. Louis, MO 63110) or from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13 at Fleet Feet Des Peres (11731 Manchester Rd, Des Peres, MO 63131). Packets can also be picked up at the Registration tents on race morning beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Honoring Your Hero
Create and wear t-shirts to identify your team, create a poster before the race and walk with it, and/or decorate a wagon or stroller. At the event, participants will have the opportunity to decorate a race bib to wear, write a note on our Wall of Honor, take a team photo in front of a Celebrate Life 5K Run/Walk photo backdrop, and more. Please note: Poster decorating material will not be available at the event.
If you would like a tribute sign of your loved one included in our Garden of Heroes, please email a high resolution photo with the name as you would like it to appear to tzobrist@midamericatransplant.org by September 14, 2018. Any photos received after this date will not be included in the Garden of Heroes. Please note: If you had a Garden of Heroes sign created last year, you will need to submit a new photo for this year’s Garden of Heroes.
Mid-America Transplant is focused on strengthening our communities by not only serving as the link between patients awaiting organ and tissue transplants and those who donate but also as a community-based resource providing education and bereavement support. The Celebrate Life 5K brings together the St. Louis transplant community to honor organ and tissue donors, celebrate new life with recipients, support those waiting for a lifesaving transplant, and inspire others to say “yes” to donation. We are excited to raise awareness about organ, tissue, and eye donation.
