It's "All in the Family"
Growing up in the Midwest in the St Louis area, I was one of 5 children. I was always the sickly one. But was always determined to make the best of what life brought.
The time came when Lupus took my kidneys. I needed a kidney. My siblings all tested to see if they were a match. My youngest brother, strong and healthy and very well informed made the sacrifice, to put his life on hold for a little while and became my kidney donor. That was 25 years ago. Today, we are both healthy and strong. He is my hero.
If you are considering donation, be well informed.
