Haylee Jade
York

Haylee was seven when she received her wings. She had a rare case, of a rare disease called Pulmonary Hypertension. It took her life, but not her joy of life. She loved the St. Louis Blues and was a PHighter like her favorite players Oshie and Reaves. She was a VIP of Chuck E. Cheese and Make a Wish made her a princess at Disney. She was a lot of things to a lot of people, but she was our Hay.
She lost her fight with PH on Feb 11, 2020, but was still able to impact others with her gift of life. Hay helped give sight, mobility, and life with her donation. Hopefully the recipients can see the world as bright as Hay did; can run and play in the ways Hay couldn’t, and their hearts beat Blue for our city!
Nothing eases the loss of a child, but knowing that she lives on provides a comfort. Imaging that somewhere there is an interconnection as our paths cross give hope in darkness. It is hard to let Hay go, but it was an easy decision to help others. We love Hay, and hope the spark in her continues to impact the world.
